After School Activity Clubs

All After School Clubs have been cancelled until further notice

After School Activity Clubs 2019-2020

 

We are pleased to offer a variety of after school activity clubs.   Clubs are run by our members of staff and by other external professionals throughout the week from 3.00 - 4.00pm.

 

Children attending the Ashbrook After School Club will be collected at 4.00pm by a member of staff from the Ashbrook After School Club team.
 

Monday

 

Cookery Club

Year 2 Cookery Club is run by Mrs Bhakta.  Children will learn how to prepare and bake a variety of foods. This club will run for 5 weeks at a cost of £15.

 

Tuesday

 

Drama Club
Drama Club is run by Mrs Harrison-Payne.  Mrs Harrison-Payne has 6 years experience teaching drama in a theatre school. Children will have fun, build self esteem, confidence and life skills, helping them with speech, language and creative writing through drama games, voice projection, imagination, characterisation and performance skills.  This club will run for 5 weeks at a cost of 15.

 

Wednesday

 

Zumba Club

Zumba Club is run by qualified Zumba instructor, Sam Webb.  These are high-energy sessions with specially choreographed routines for young children.  They increase focus and self-confidence, boost metabolism and improve co-ordination and fitness.  This club will run for 5 weeks at a cost of £22.50.

 

Thursday

 

Lego Club

Lego Club is run by Miss Woolridge and supported by Kids With Bricks Ltd, an external provider. As well as completing a range of exciting educational challenges, students will have the chance to work both individually and to work in teams. Yoga Club

Yoga Club is run by qualified Yoga instructor, Sam Webb.  This club will run for 5 weeks at a cost of £22.50.

 

Friday

 

Brazilian Football Club
Football Club is run by FA qualified coaches from Brazilian Soccer Schools, experienced with working with children of all ages.  These are structured skill based sessions, working from a syllabus of over 200 skills, to create very technical able players.  Every child has a ball to themselves and Samba music is used in some sessions to increase atmoshpere, work rate, rhythm and to aid concentration.  This club will run for 10 weeks at a cost of £35.
