DESCRIPTION:Year 2 will be looking at the text ‘George and the Dragon’ in their English lessons and for an end of term treat\, they will be having a breakfast banquet just like George\, the mouse in the story. This will take place during the morning at approximately 11.00am. \nChildren are invited to come to school in their smartest/best clothes (no dressing up/superhero costumes please) with sensible shoes\, as they will still be going outside throughout the day. DESCRIPTION:Year 1 will be going on an exciting trip to the Milton Keynes Museum on Monday 2nd November. This visit will focus on Victorian toys and homes\, linking directly to our current history unit\, where the children are learning about life in the Victorian era.  \nDuring the visit\, the children will have the opportunity to explore the museum’s wonderful collection of Victorian toys and household items. They will take part in interactive workshops that will help them understand how children lived\, played\, and learned in Victorian times. This hands-on experience will greatly enrich their understanding of this period in history.  \nWe kindly ask for a contribution of £10.95 per child to cover the costs of the trip. Please complete the payment and permission on MCAS. If we do not get enough contributions\, the trip will be unable to go ahead. DESCRIPTION:As part of our upcoming English unit based on the text Too Much Stuff\, by Emily Gravett\, the children will be taking part in a local walk to explore the wildlife and environment in our community. \nDuring this walk\, the children will be observing natural habitats and identifying areas where they can hang bird feeders\, which they will be making in class. This activity will help them understand the importance of caring for the environment and how small actions can support local wildlife. \nStaff are aware of all medical and dietary needs\, and appropriate risk assessments will be carried out prior to the walk. \nPlease ensure your child is wearing school uniform\, they are dressed appropriately for the weather\, and wearing comfortable footwear and a waterproof coat. \nPlease speak to class teachers\, if you can join and support us on our walk.
