DESCRIPTION:As part of our English lessons\, Year 1 children will be having a ‘Super Hero Day’ on Friday 18 September. We will be discussing all the super powers that we have ourselves and also the super powers of super heroes. \nThere is absolutely no expectation for parents to buy costumes. The day will be packed with fun activities\, including making superhero masks and capes for the children to wear. \nIf your child would like to come dressed as a superhero\, that’s absolutely fine too! \nChildren should still wear sensible school shoes and bring a waterproof coat as they will be going outside throughout the day.

DESCRIPTION:Year 2 will be looking at the text ‘George and the Dragon’ in their English lessons and for an end of term treat\, they will be having a breakfast banquet just like George\, the mouse in the story. This will take place during the morning at approximately 11.00am. \nChildren are invited to come to school in their smartest/best clothes (no dressing up/superhero costumes please) with sensible shoes\, as they will still be going outside throughout the day.
