Sports Day

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our Sports Day on Tuesday 16 June. The children will be taking part in a range of competitive sports and activities throughout the afternoon.

The event will take place on the playground and the field, starting promptly at 1:20pm and finishing at approximately 2:45pm.

We invite parents and families to join us to support and cheer the children on. There will be designated areas which will be cordoned off for spectators to watch and cheer our sporting stars.

We kindly ask that you remain within these designated areas as we move from the playground to the field, where we will finish the afternoon with our team races.

The children will take part in a carousel of eight different sporting activities as they compete in their house teams.

All children should come to school wearing their house-colour T-shirt, along with their PE kit and trainers.  Children will also need to bring a water bottle and a sunhat and sun cream should be applied before school.

The following houses will be highlighted by their colour and the children should be familiar with the house team they belong to.

Willow – Red

Chestnuts – Blue

Birch – Green

Elm – Yellow

In the event of bad weather, the sports day will be postponed, and a text message will be sent out to inform you regarding an alternative date which would be Monday 22 June.

We will have water and refreshments for parents to purchase at the end of the event.
