World Book Day

We are looking forward to celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5 March.

Children are invited to come to school in their pyjamas, or dressed as their favourite book character or author with a copy of their favourite book. Please ensure your child is wearing sensible shoes and a warm waterproof coat, as they will still be going outside throughout the day.

In the afternoon Year 5/6 children from Two Mile Ash School will be coming over to share stories with our children.

Teachers will also be reading their favourite book to different classes and children will enjoy a variety of fun, reading‑themed activities.

Please note: *If your child has swimming on this day then they are still invited to come dressed up. Perhaps try to keep outfit simple. Props will be left in Ashbrook until their return.
