World Cup Celebration Day

With many families and children excited about England qualifying for the quarterfinals of the World Cup, we have decided to have a World Cup Celebration Day to celebrate not only England’s success, but also all the countries taking part in this fantastic international event.

On Friday 10 July, children are invited to come to school wearing their sportiest outfit. They may choose to wear:

• Their favourite football shirt
• Clothing in the colours of a country they wish to support

• Their school PE kit

• Any sporty outfit suitable for a normal school day

Throughout the day, children will take part in a range of fun activities linked to the World Cup, while learning about teamwork, determination, respect and celebrating different countries and cultures from around the world.

Please ensure your child is dressed in suitable clothing and footwear for the weather, they have a full water bottle, a sunhat and sun cream is applied before school.

We look forward to seeing everyone’s sporting outfits and enjoying a day of World Cup celebrations together.
