World Religion Day

January 19

On Monday 19th January, we will be celebrating World Religion Day. This is a day when people around the world learn about different religions and the values they share, such as kindness, respect, and peace.

We would love our families to be part of this celebration. If you would like to share something about your religion, culture, or beliefs, we warmly invite you to join us for our school assembly on this day. You can take part in any way that feels comfortable for you. For example, you may wish to:

  • Speak briefly about your religion or beliefs
  • Share a short video you have recorded at home
  • Bring photos, objects, or symbols that are important in your faith [We will create a display throughout our shared area]
  • Teach us a greeting, song, or tradition

All contributions are welcome. You do not need to speak perfect English—your presence and your story are what matter most. If you would like support with translation or preparing what to share, please let us know and we will be happy to help.

We hope this event will help our children understand and appreciate the many different religions represented in our school and see how these differences can bring us together.

If you would like to take part, please contact the school office contact@ashbrookschool.net or speak to Mrs Begum.

Thank you for helping us make our school a place where everyone feels they belong.
