Year 1 Trip to the Paddington Experience

We are excited to inform you that the Year 1 children will have the opportunity to attend a day trip to The Paddington Experience in London on Tuesday 21 April. This visit links closely to their English and Geography learning this term.

Children will travel by coach to London, where they will have the opportunity to see a range of London landmarks before visiting The Paddington Experience. Following the visit, the children will have lunch before returning to school by coach.

Please ensure your child is in school by 7.40am as we will be leaving at 7.55am (we will not be able to wait for children arriving after this time). We expect to arrive back at school by approximately 3:40pm.

Please provide a packed lunch from home, or order a cheese sandwich packed lunch via ParentPay. If you are providing a packed lunch from home, please cancel your order on ParentPay.

To make this trip possible, we kindly ask for a contribution of £28 per child (this can be paid in instalments). Unfortunately, if we do not receive sufficient contributions, we will be unable to proceed with the trip. If you require support with payment, please speak confidentially to the school office.

Please ensure that payment and consent are completed via MCAS by Friday 3 April 2026.

If you or a grandparent are able to help us for the day, we would be very grateful! With the support of the teachers and members of staff, helpers will be responsible for a small group of children for the duration of the trip.  If you are able to help, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
