Year 2 Safari Day
July 7
In Year 2, we have been learning all about Kenya and comparing it to the UK as part of our Geography unit this half term.
To celebrate and showcase our learning, Year 2 will be having a Safari Day on Tuesday 7 July.
Children are invited to come dressed in safari-style clothing, such as neutral-coloured shorts or trousers, t-shirts, hats, sunglasses, jackets (depending on the weather), walking boots and small travel bags. Please do not feel that you need to buy anything new—shorts and a t-shirt will be absolutely fine.
As part of the day, we would also like children to make their own binoculars at home to bring into school, please. They can be as creative as they like! We will be using these to go on our very own safari around the school.
We are really looking forward to another fun Inspire Day with all of our Year 2 children.
