Year 2 Trip to Cadbury World

We are pleased to share that our Year 2 children will be visiting Cadbury World on Tuesday 17 March 2026. This exciting trip links to their chocolate topic taking place in Spring term 2.

During the visit, children will take part in an educational talk called ‘Bean to Bar’ to learn how chocolate is made, as well as enjoy a guided tour of the factory. They will also have access to all the fantastic activities Cadbury World has to offer. This trip has been hugely popular over the past two years and is often mentioned by children as one of their favourite school memories.

The coach will leave school at 7:45am. Please ensure your child arrives at school by 7:30am (we will not be able to wait for any children who arrive after this time).  We expect to arrive back to school at approximately 4.00pm.

Please provide a packed lunch or order a cheese sandwich packed lunch from ParentPay.

We kindly ask for a voluntary contribution of £25 per child (which can be paid in instalments) to help make this trip possible.  Unfortunately, if we do not receive enough contributions by the payment deadline, we will be unable to go ahead with the visit.

If you or a grandparent are able to help us for the day, we would be very grateful! With the support of the teachers and members of staff, helpers will be responsible for a small group of children for the duration of the trip.  If you are able to help, please speak to your child’s class teacher.
