Year 2 Trip to Lodge Lake

July 21

Year 2 children will be exploring some of the wildlife that lives in our city, as well as learning about a few simple ideas that can be implemented to make the local area a happy and safe place for creatures to live in.

We are very lucky to have so many wonderful green spaces around us and the children will be using this visit to understand how they can play a greater role in keeping it clean and how we need to respect our planet.

The two classes will be going at different times during the day to get the most out of their experience.

Tigers class will aim to leave by 9:10am. The walk should take no more than 20 minutes, and we aim to be back before lunch by 11:15am.

Lions class will aim to leave by 1:10pm and get back by 2:45pm

To enable the trip to go ahead, we would like to request a voluntary contribution of £4 and permission to be given via MCAS please in ‘Events’.

Children will need to wear school uniform, a sun hat or waterproof coat, depending on the weather and comfortable shoes/trainers.

If you are able to support us with this trip, please speak to the Year 2 team.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Begum mbegum@ashbrookschool.net
