Year 2 Trip to The Stables, MK

We are planning a trip for Year 2 children to visit the Children’s Book Show at The Stables Theatre, Wavendon, Milton Keynes on Monday 13th November 2023.

Marta Altés, author and illustrator of children’s books including ‘My Grandpa’ and ‘Five More Minutes’, will be talking about her work, showing the audience her brilliant and funny illustrations, reading her stories and revealing how she goes about creating them.

We will be travelling by coach and returning in time for lunch. We are asking for a donation of £14 per child in line with the Governor’s charging policy. This cost will cover entrance to the book show and the coach journey. If we do not receive enough donations to cover thecost of this trip, it will not be able to go ahead.

On the day, please ensure your child is wearing full school uniform and brings a named water bottle with them.
