Year 2 Trip to Whipsnade Zoo

On Wednesday 5th of June, the Year 2 classes visited Whipsnade Zoo. We are learning about Kenya as part of the Geography unit this half term and the trip enabled children to find out more about animals that live in the African continent. The trip created a real life experience for children to see the animals up close to find out how they live in the wild. We were very lucky with the weather and we managed to see all the animals during our route around the Zoo. Children were beaming through out the day as they found out different facts about the different animals they spotted. We walked almost nearly 5 miles during our route and the children behaved impeccably throughout the day and we are very proud with how they represented the school.
