Safeguarding at Ashbrook

Safeguarding all children and staff is our primary focus at Ashbrook. We want everyone to feel safe and secure in school.

Earlier this week, Mr Ainscow led the safeguarding annual training for all staff from across the PATH schools (Ashbrook, Two Mile Ash and Holmwood). The training is a statutory element of professional development. The focus of the training was on national guidance, updates from Keeping Children Safe in Education and Working Together 2026.

The safeguarding team at Ashbrook is led by Mrs Toni Cole (our Designated Safeguarding Lead, or DSL). Mr Jamie Ainscow is the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. Additional Designated Safeguarding Officers (DSOs) are Mrs Cheryl Ferguson and Mrs Lauren Almond.
